Enhanced Jessner's Peels $110.00

These peels soften the appearance of surface lines around the eyes and nasolabial folds, help treat acne, improve skin texture and promote even skin tone, especially in oily skin.  These blends combine AHA with Kojic Acid (with or without Hydroquinone) to address uneven tone from sun damage and hormonal changes. These peels utilizes 14% Lactic acid, an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) naturally found in milk and sugars.  It is also part of the skin's moisturizing factor and moisturizes the skin; 14% Salicylic Acid, a calming lipophilic BHA (beta hydroxy acid ) that helps promote a clear complexion; 3% Kojic acid that helps promote and even skin tone; Citric Acid, an AHA naturally found in citrus fruits;  Hydroquinone, to help promote an even skin tone (as indicated)  and Resorcinol (as indicated), a flaking agent to boost improvement of the skin.

Enhanced Jessner's Peels are available in three formulas. The esthetician will recommend the best peel appropriate for you during the consultation.  For any of these peels, your esthetician will advise the client NOT to wet the areas treated, thus it is advisable that the client takes a shower before the appointment and strictly follow the post-treatment at-home regimen. Your esthetician will first cleanse your face, to be followed with a smoothing toner to prepare your skin for the next phase.Next is the application of the chosen formula best for your skin type and condition.  After the peel solution has been absorbed into the skin, a customized combination of corrective care products and serums will be applied onto your skin. A retinoid booster (to be determined by you and your esthetician) may be applied onto your skin to increase exfoliation and hydration.  The peel lasts 30 to 45 minutes.

  • As with all peels and treatments, it is recommended that makeup not be applied the day of the treatment, as it is ideal to allow the skin to stabilize and rest overnight.
  • To minimize side effects and maximize results use the Post-Procedure Solution for three to five days until flaking has resolved.
  • If the skin feels tight, apply ReBalance for normal to oily skin types or Silkcoat® Balm for drier skin types to moisturize as needed.  For maximum hydration, you can apply Hydrating Serum under ReBalanceor Silkcoat® Balm.
  • Moisturizer should be applied at least twice a day, but can be applied more frequently for hydration and to decrease the appearance of flaking.
  • It is recommended that other topical, over-the-counter medications or alpha hydroxy acid products not be applied to the skin seven days post-procedure, as they may cause irritation.
  • It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Differin®, Renova®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuoTM   or Ziana® five days post-procedure.  Consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat.

Use Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45, Perfecting Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 30, Protecting Hydrator Broad Spectrum SPF 30 or Hydrator Plus Broad Spectrum SPF 30 for broad spectrum UV protection.
  • Do not go to a tanning bed for at least two weeks post-procedure.  This practice should be discontinued due to increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging.

  • Do not have electrolysis, facial waxing, facial threading or use depilatories for approximately  five days.
